Welcome to First Bull Run
The complete Orders of Battle for the armies of Northeastern Virginia, Potomac and Shenandoah during the Manassas Campaign, Virginia, 16–22 July, 1861.

Army of The Shenandoah
The research for First Bull Run began in 1994, when I read a very informative article written by Paul Stevenson for 'Military Modelling' in 1987, entitled 'Sunday Picnic Uniforms'. This was the catalyst which inspired the research and development of the complete orders of battle for every company that was part of the Manassas Campaign, Virginia, 16–22 July, 1861, for the armies of Northeastern Virginia, Potomac and Shenandoah.
The vast array of uniforms was inspiring; the grey militia uniforms of the Eighth New York State Militia, the red-legged devils of the Fourteenth New York (Brooklyn) State Militia, the red shirts of the Eleventh New York (Fire Zouaves) Infantry, the blue militia uniforms of several companies of the Thirty-third Virginia Infantry and the old filibuster uniforms of Tiger Rifles, First Special Battalion Liousiana Infantry, Company B.
